Reduce the size of your family!
by Marvin Shilmer inthe watchtower organization resists the idea that its workforce is comprised of employees.
instead it promotes the idea that these individuals comprise a family.
yet recently there is a directive that smacks a totalitarian tendency.

It's the kind of family where sometimes the parents have to eat their young. -

One Year Later - A Thank You to Tony Morris.
by cappytan indear anthony morris, iii:.
i wanted to send you a note of "thanks" on this special day.. why is this day special, you may ask?
one year ago today, you, tony, woke me up to the fact that the governing body could not have jehovah's blessing or direction.. last year, on november 8th & 9th, 2014, the united states branch visit was broadcast to over 1,000,000 jehovah's witnesses across the country.. as i sat at the kingdom hall listening to the "historic occasion," i was ignoring certain doubts that had surfaced in the few months prior.

He said he asked 'sister after sister' if they found that look APPEALING, ATTRACTIVE on a brother, and they 'apparently' said 'NO'.
I think the sisters misunderstood the question. They assumed he was asking if the fitted suit and careful grooming would make HIM appealing and attractive. Frankly, the sisters would only find ToMo3 attractive if he was cleaning and mopping their house... with a bag over his head.
If a brother walked into their Kingdumb Haul looking like Chris Pine, how many sisters would say they find his fitted suit and tight pants unappealing and unattractive?

Jehovah's witnesses are the fastest growing religion.
by hoser inthat is what the speaker said in his public talk this morning.

Billy the Ex-Bethelite
JWs are the fastest invisible growth religion.
And their preaching work is speeding up invisibly, too.
From the visible evidence I've seen, they're just a few people that stand next to litteratrash carts looking bored. People walk past them like they are invisible. That's what I saw yesterday.

Hi First Post Here
by Distracted injust wanted to break the ice and write my first post here and also talk about some things that are bothering me.
i don't go to meetings anymore and i have become inactive for years now.
i don't believe the witnesses have the truth more than any other organized religion.

Being raised a witness and being one for most of my adult life has made me feel weird.
Welcome to the weird and wonderful world of exJWs.
Any one else hear about some special thing you can watch or read from the WT site for people to come back in the org going on this month? My mother was urging me to go and watch it.
More importantly, WT Corporation wants your money to come back to the org. They're cutting bethelites, special pioneers, and construction projects because the money seems to be drying up.

The Society cares more about Mark Sanderson's stick of Judah than the elephant in the room
by truthseeker ini just watched the segment of mark anderson's, gb member, talking at the annual general meeting.. they care more about obscure prophecies than the child abuse crisis in the organization.. he talks about the two and ten tribe kingdoms of israel, the stick of joseph and stick of judah, and likens it to the anointed and great crowd.. what a bunch of craziness!.
this is the kind of crap spiritual food the drones get..

This is the kind of crap spiritual food the drones get.It may sound like crazy crap, but maybe WT had to pay several million $$ to outside consultants in order to get this nulite about that OT stick situation. Perhaps that's why the corporation finances are getting drained and they're forced to cut bethelites, special pioneers, and construction projects. I'm not saying they are paying money for outsourced spiritual food, but who can prove that they aren't?
Perhaps with this new understanding of this stick of Joseph and that stick of Judah, the sheeple will appreciatively and happifyingly dig deeply into their pockets to pay for these troothz. And now that they've finally got a solution to this stick riddle, the GB can turn their attention to protecting children.

Warwick to finish EARLY
by wifibandit inok, story time.. anon asks me via pm:.
just heard from a wallkill bethelite that warwick will finish early.
can you confirm?.

Billy the Ex-Bethelite
It's four: Warwick goal finish date is Sept. 2016, moved from Jan 2017.
Since no day of the month is given, it would fall somewhere between 3 and 5 months: Sept 30 to Jan 1 = 3 months and 2 days. Sept 1 to Jan 31 = 5 months less 1 day.
In any case, if it's like their other construction projects have been, the repairs, renovations, and corrections of mistakes will drag on until the big A.

The Man With a Secretary's Inkhorn - who he, and does he wear flip-flops?
by rory-ks inat the agm this year geoffrey jackson identified the "man with a secretary's inkhorn," of ezekiel chapter 9 as being jesus christ.
this was declared an "adjustment" from the previous understanding that the organisation used to believe that this "man" was "the annointed.".
has the society always taught that the "man with the secretary's inkhorn" was someone other than jesus - or is this a situation where back in the mists of time the bible students understood him to be jesus, and then rutherford (or someone) identified him as "the annointed," and now they have reverted back to their initial belief?.

Billy the Ex-Bethelite
Wouldn't "the man with the secretary's inkhorn" be... I dunno... THE SECRETARY !?!?!?!?!
Evidently, the secretary that does the marking is the composite Congregation Secretary Class. An elder in each congregation uses his "inkhorn" to fill out paperwork including Congregation Publishers Record Cards, letters of recommendation, forms for disfellowshipping, etc. Although this work is often kept secret, as if it is something invisible, the paperwork generated means life and death for a publisher and his prospect of eternal panda-petting paradise.
Whew! I think that nulite is better than anything Botchtower Corp could come up with.

Is my friend on the way out of the organisation?
by The Rebel inwhen i left the watchtower i realised it was best to put friendships on hold.
however i mentioned to my best friend that i didn't agree with how they handled child abuse issues and that was one of the reasons i left.. anyway as i am fortunate and own two rental apartments and he is a plumber so we have kept in contact, in that i email him when i require his services and he sends me the invoice.
anyway i am now dissociated, but yesterday i emailed him about a pluming problem, and he replied.. " sorry we missed going to the indian ( this was a comment made about us having a meal together about 9 months ago, which i backed out of because i felt he was too indoctrinated and i had not disassociated myself) anyway his email continued:-.

Even more importantly if someone had asked me who from my former indoctrinated friends i would consider least likely to defect, I would answer him.
Many would have considered me in that "least likely to defect" category. But my defection came at my own time and pace. With being a JW, it's not just about opening up to doubts, it's realizing all the consequences that come with opening up to TTATT.
If he's not really ready for that, the best you can do for him is be a good example. Be a happy, healthy, and productive member of the human family, and not a bitter, angry, or argumentative "apostate". Give him plenty of space and time, it's not like an "exJW armageddon" is coming tomorrow and he'll be destroyed if he's still in the cult.

London Bethelites Living on Their Nerves?
by The Searcher injust got home and received information from a source regarding london bethel: .
a bethel couple told my source that they are getting rid of about 20/25 bethelites every week and that if they are to go, they will get called in on a friday and given their leaving date.everyone is "on edge" and hoping that if they get the boot, they've got time to make alternative plans.. perhaps bethelites everywhere should apply this scripture, by looking for a job and accommodation now - and then just resign from their "vow of poverty" without giving advance warning.
(proverbs 22:3) "the shrewd one sees the danger and conceals himself, but the inexperienced keep right on going and suffer the consequences.".

What a horrible employer the Watchtower is.
Cofty, it isn't just a Watchtower employer, it's the "bethel family".
The bethel family is the type of family where you have to do whatever "mother" asks. You don't say anything negative about the family to others. Working for the interests of this family is everything. And at any whim of mother, you can be kicked out of the family.
I used to be part of that family. But it was fake. A phony marketing scheme just like the "spiritual paradise", designed to snare and enslave. I'm sure there are still some good people--even future exJWs--that are slaving in that fake family today.
I'm so glad that I'm not any part of that dysfunctional family now!
